We’ve simply outgrown being told that every woman capable of saving a kingdom apparently needs to have only just left her teens.
Here you’ll find mature heroines, complicated relationships, immersive worlds, yearning, morally questionable decisions, villains we absolutely should know better than to fancy, and the occasional cowboy when we need a palate cleanser.
